The same thing that happened to the person below happened to me, too: admitted to Rochester and rejected from UCF. Weird.

I was notified on my acceptance on February 5th, but have not heard anything about funding. What about the others? Do you have info on financial aid?

Not even waitlisted!!

No funding. Sigh....

I any one does not want to go there pls reject the offer as soon as possible

UCF took forever to make a decision. What a fail. Oh well.

I understand the posters that have posted about UCF. I went there for undergrad and they are so rude. They have favorites and on top of that their faculty will outright tell u if they believe you are grad school material Well needless to say not only did I earn 1 masters, I'm finishing up the 2nd in SLP. Screw UCF and Dr. Rosa-Lugo!

I totally agree with you poster! I tried to bring it to the department's attention, but was ignored! The program lacks disorganization or care for prospective students. Unless I was offered money would I go. All the people I know that are going, did not get into another school or just applied there. What I wanted to do was send a nasty email, but they don't answer those either! What a laughing stock of a program

Ha--I wanted to laugh when I was notified of the acceptance because the timing and the department has been so rude! I can't believe they accept good applicants go to here, two weeks after the national deadline!--to the poster below, I would ONLY consider going to UCF and losing my other deposit if the UCF department wanted me badly enough, to pay the deposit I've already given to the school that 1) Accepted me, 2) accepted me well BEFORE the national deadline, 3) answered their phones when I called, 4) were polite, and 5) were organized enough to be ON TIME. Wtf, UCF? If you accept at this point, you'll be going to school alongside people who weren't accepted anywhere else...

To the poster below: I was considering it, when I found out over UCF would be informing applicants two weeks after the national deadline. I tried to contact the department, but I got no answer, just rude receptionists. The dept does not care for potential grads. Lost respect in the program due to disorganization

I am just responding to the person who said they were forced to accept another school even though this is their top choice: you can still go here! Even if you accepted elsewhere. You just lose your deposit at the other school. People do it all the time.

Top choice school but will be declining. Unfortunately, they informed first round applicants 2 weeks after the national deadline of April 15th, so I was forced to accept another school.
