University of California (UCLA) Economics Graduate School Admission Results

I emailed UCLA today asking for results and they said April 15th will be the last day send out decisions, but they hope to send all the decisions before then!

TPB: I'm beginning to think they won't. $140 down the drain.

Is UCLA ever gonna notify us of their decision?

TPB: I have received that exact same response a couple of weeks ago and I am currently in the same situation as you are. No idea if this is an IR. I also think the number of acceptances so far looks kind of low. If candidates without an answer until now are not being considered for acceptances, making us wait like that for the rejection is just ridiculous!

I wrote to them asking about my application status and I got a generic answer "We are still reviewing applications. Due to COVID-19, our staff is working remotely and have to adjust accordingly. We will let students know as soon as possible on the status of their applications. Thank you for your patience." Is that an IR? I saw only a few offers posted here.

Has anyone heard back from UCLA MAE after the interview. Had my interview more than a week ago but i have not heard back

Could someone please share the funding details? I still haven't heard from them yet either and am wondering if it's worth waiting for.

Have UCLA finished their admission? I thought it was an ir since last month but I haven't heard back from them till now, does it mean an implicit rejection?

No email received. Randomly checked the application portal and found it. 1a/10r/5p. GPA for grad.

TPB: to those admitted at UCLA, would you mind sharing details of funding offers? Also, are there any news of Virtual Visiting Days or something similar? Thanks a lot and congrats on the admission.

I asked them recently. They are still reviewing applications. They told me they will communicate the results as soon as possible

They once told me they would let all of us know by the end of March, but that was long ago. Maybe things have changed due to the virus? (I thought they would work more efficiently at home, but apparently that's not the case)

TPB: totally agreed! Completely disrespectful. If someone else but the ones who already posted here knows something from them, please share! It seems they don't even give a damn to us. Would've sent at least an email indicating that final decisions would be released in X days if they did - no substantial cost in doing that.

How come UCLA already completed 4 whole months holding applications and have only sent so few notifications to applicants? Quite disrespectful considering their USD140.00 fee and early application deadlines. It causes so much uncertainty and anxiety...
