University of California, Berkeley Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

To the poster below: they just added “Grad 20” to my portal under my name at the top and also in the detail section. Does anybody have the same thing in his portal?

Guess this application season is over for me. I expected an admit from this university. Don't know what to do from here. I guess getting into Stanford, CMU and GATECH is impossible now.

Received admission notification a short time ago. No information on funding yet. From Sharif University, Iran.

Formal admission e-mail arrived just now, 3 relevant conference publications. Have been interviewed 2 weeks ago.

Second interview at Berkeley in two days. This time with my POI.

Interviewed today. Talked about my past research and future interests. Said I have an impressive application. Fingers crossed !

Woohoo, official offer! Stats: High GPA from decent EE school, many grad classes during ugrad, 2 years research experience, 1 journal pub (not in focus), strong recs from known profs, 1 year very relevant work experience.
