My advisor's research blends very well with my interests and skills. That reigned over all else. Has anyone heard already from Northwestern Engineering ( Environmental Eng and Science )? Maybe I am just driving myself crazy, been waiting since the beginning of this year and these last days are the worst. How true is 'no news is good news'? I see mixed results here from years past, people have been admitted and rejected the last days before mid April.... Anyone??

Applied for Mechanical Engineering MS. Got accepted in Engineering MS from the college of technology and innovation. Any Idea on how the program is.

Found out via website. Did not get invited to open house in Feb, so knew it wasn't going to happen. Funny, because I have a perfect GPA, presentations, posters, several awards, research scholarships, leadership roles in undergrad and great reference letters. Oh well, I got accepted at my first choice anyway :)

Bittersweet. Will be declining, staying in-state.

To the future applicants: this is a fake program, never apply for it. By doing so, you just burn your recommendations. To make it clear, getting accepted from top 10 universities is much more easier than this one.

To the poster below: I am currently an undergrad here so I have some information. Acceptances were sent out in early March; waitlists and rejections have not been sent out yet. I'm not sure why they're waiting to send the rest out. You'll likely hear after April 15.

Kind of unexpected. Personally, I think I deserve an admission to McGill. My opinion is based on comparisons of McGill and other colleges who have accepted me, such as Purdue, UIUC and NCSU. But those MONSIEURs at Montreal certainly have a different opinion. Well, I respect their opinion. Bye-bye, McGill, and bye-bye, Canada. - From China. TOEFL 111, Undergrad GPA: 83/100. To poster below- I was accepted to KSU last week and will be accepting my offer. My portal says application status :decision made decision: unconditional admit graduate. My guess is that you are waitlisted or rejected. 1st round accepted students have until April 15th to accept or deny their offer. We will also hear about GA and traineeship offers before April 15th which includes full tuition paid for and monthly stipend (at least for the traineeship position).
