University Of Toronto Graduate School Admission Results

In reply to the poster below asking about my rejection. I initially applied to University of Ottawa and Wilfrid Laurier which I both got rejected to as well. My research will be focusing on cybercrimes and unfortunately many university are very very behind in this arena of study so they simply rejected me because they can't find an advisor willing to take me on. Given that, I accepted my offer to UOIT. They're currently the most technically innovative and thus far I've had a great experience with administrative staff. They gave me an extension to get my grades in ( I have to take a summer course to fulfill my undergraduate degree) with no questions asked, and have been available to answer and redirect me to the right person when I've had any questions about getting started. It's a small program (about 10-15 masters students) and many professors have told me that they have produced very successful Ph.D. canditates. I know my response sounds like it's ridden in bias- but this is based on my very real, terrible experience with applying this year.

International Student -- still "under review" on website. Has anyone heard back from them yet? Domestic students, anyone?

TPB: Congrats on the admit. Do you mind me telling how much was the funding package offered to you ?

To the poster below: Was the decision letter send out by enail? Did u apply for the 1year or 2years program? And may I ask abt ur gpa?:)

My graduate portal still says "Under Review", am I on the waitlist since people got offers already? Should I be worried?

Previous posters: so at least one person says they've receive acceptance with funding, yet everyone else has been told to wait until mid-April? Do I have that right?

Canadian non-standard applicant, coming from a BFA and several years out of school. Emailed to inquire about my status and received approval. Waiting for the official mailed offer, and hopefully some funding assistance.

Cumulative GPA and sub-GPA in the 3.9's, 100 hours SLP volunteering, research assistant.

My fourth waitlist without acceptance....ahh...I'm dying to know what's gonna happen
