Still waiting. Received an online rejection letter on March 26th but then was notified that it was an "administrative error" and application status reverted back to "Under Review". Not sure what to think. Canadian educated w/ strong references (I think! lol) from quite distinguished people, international work experience, confirmed faculty interest... let's just blame the delay on the pandemic ;-)

I had emailed 3 times asking for an update, then 4/7 the grad committee head set up an interview with me for 4/8. Later that day I got an informal acceptance via email.

3.7 GPA in my B.Sc. of Neuroscience and a 4.0 in my M.Sc. of Molecular Genetics. Unsure why I was rejected as the letter gave no reasoning.

Still no response. I think I've been ghosted...

no funding but it doesn't seem like anyone got any. My first time applying, 86 undergrad average, already have one MA, a decent amount of experience, mostly paid.

Does anyone hear any information about the waitlist info? Did you get contacted by the admission committee?

MASc. Offered to be considered for MEng, but I won't go for it.

MASc. Contacted professors beforehand but didn't reply. Got accepted to way better top tier schools in the US in Robotics. Very disappointed in both McGill and UoT, as I'm starting to sense a sort of bias...

MASc. Quite surprised. I've gotten into better ranked programs, for a PhD. but I would have preferred this over those. Disappointing. Are they just rejecting all international applicants due to COVID-19?
