IGNORE STATUS. Has anyone heard anything after the interview day? From the school or PI?

I received an informal notice of acceptance from Adam Briggle via email, with the official notice forthcoming. It may be worth mentioning that I had an encouraging Zoom meeting with my POI prior to applying.

I saw people uploading their decisions so emailed grad office they informed of rejection. portal was updated a few hours after that.

Received email offering admission if I wanted it, but indicating that I would likely have dominant offers.

No email - saw results on gradcafe for the last few days so I kept checking

No email, just checked the portal and saw a status update and a brief rejection letter. Disappointing but expected. Good luck to everyone else! 1a/2r/1w/2p

No email, just randomly checked the portal. I knew my chance was minimal since there are only 0-2 spots for international students each year, but it still hurts. Berkeley is really my dream school. Time to move on. 5a/3r/5p

No GRE. $58000 Dean's Merit Scholarship, which I understand as 50% tuition

3.98 GPA, 3.5 years of research, bilingual, lots of volunteer experiences, two leadership positions within my university
