Some professors at my graduate school told me: that if you want to apply for the University of Rochester's political science Department, you would best have 90% or even full scores on the math of GRE; also you would better have many "A" in your transcript and attend quant focused courses. Sadly, my GRE's math percentile is only 70%

Another reject via e-mail. Maybe PhD option is not for me?

Requested for updates from the program, I got the email asking me to check what I asked for. MSc GPA: 3.98/5, BSc GPA: 5.1/7. No interview. No GRE. 4 publications, 3 conference presentations. 5 years of research experience.

I messed up in my statement of purpose.

Have any decisions gone out here yet? They were supposed to have come out already but it’s been quiet here

I am so disappointed in them. Upon all the application fees i paid with no waiver from them, i got bounced. God have mercy on them!!!!

Applied to both Joint PhD in Social Work and Psychology and MSW program. Got waitlisted for PhD, but accepted for MSW. :)
