2 years of work experience in a AI/Gen AI team at a big tech company. No publications, 2 non provisional US patents. Recommendations: stanford PhD and IIT D professor, VP of AI at the company, another work rec. Congrats to everyone else who got in!

2 decent research publications, ICPCs, etc. Shouldn't have applied, lol.

First off, I want to formally thank my close freinds, advisors, and mentors for believing. I want to especially thank my mom. She worked double shifts just to keep a roof over my sisters and I ever the past few years. Second, I'd like to say FUCK YOU to all the people who said I wasn't “smart enough” or said my goals were too high for my expectations. Your skepticism and negative treatment only fueled my determination. Third, I'd like to say a special huge GO FUCK YOURSELF to one of my high school teachers and to one of my EECS Professors at Berkeley. Both of you doubted my abilities and underestimated my abilities as a student, particularly highlighting both of my physical and health challenges as a barrier to my success in the engineering field. You thought that being in a wheelchair would prevent me from achieving milestones in my life. You would have never thought a guy in a wheelchair could BOTH get a job at Google w/ a 6-fig salary AND get into Stanford Graduate Engineering school in the same month. WELL GUESS WHAT BITCHES. I DID IT. LOOK WHOSE WINNING NOW. 🖕😤🖕 (mic drop)

Have a PhD in STEM from T20 US school and 4 publications.

To future applicants, here is my timeline so that you don't have to check your email every 20 minutes. Checklist disappearing Thursday night (if it disappears later than that it likely means rejection). Portal change at 5pm PST. No email.

I fed joe biden's cat. I went to the moon. I invented cs. I had a 6.9/4.0 GPA. but it still wasn't enough for stanford. JK this is troll ofc. but like some of these rejects have pretty similar achievements rip. congrats to those admitted tho.

3.4 Undergrad GPA | 2 YOE TECH (SWE @ FAANG) | Got an email saying that my status has changed in my Stanford Portal (This was probably the dead giveaway that I was rejected). I checked the update and they gave their generic rejection letter statement. Gratz to all who were accepted!

No GRE. US top 30 undergrad. 3.97/4.0 GPA. 2 significant research experiences. No publications. 2 Strong LORs 1 mid LOR. very strong SoP. 1yr work experience at MNC during school year.

Wohoo lets go ,right after brown acceptance got my stanford acceptance. Have admits from other ivies as well. Got into everyone's dream school. Lesssgooooo..!! stats: won a bunch of olympiad and competitive programming medals(math,cs,physics) at high school and college at national and international level. accepted everywhere except cmu(didn't take gre) and princeton(didnt show enough research interest).

Congratulations to people being accepted, sincerely, but who knows which side will win in 10 years.

My third time applying to Stanford, unable to fulfill my childhood dream. It's fine, but it's definitely Stanford's loss.
