Rice University Physics Graduate School Admission Results

I declined my admission and fellowship offer today. Good luck to all those who are waitlisted. I was admitted on 27th Feb. The deadline for accepting/declining the offer is 15th April.

"Dear Applicant" rejection.

No reply yet. I am really worried :( Should I send an email to learn my result? Any ideas? Anyone in the same boat with me? Thanks and congrats to all who got in.

@poster below: I have not yet received any answer, either. I am nervously waiting. There is no change on the website, either. I will assume it as a rejection, yet I still have a little hope to hold on to.

@Accepted fellows: Please decline your offers asap if you don't intend to attend Rice or have better options for yourselves. This way you will open some slots for us who are waiting and have no other options. I appreciated it very much. Good luck to everyone!

@poster below: I am the same, still waiting. I think those who have not received in Feb are either waitlisted or rejected. Still, fingers crossed.

Looks like all the positive admits were given in February. I am afraid I will get a rejection soon. Is there someone out here still waiting for a reply like me?? Thanks.

just sent an email to the admin/secretary and kindly asked after my application result. I was repeated what is written on the online app page: it is underway. I hope they will let me know in few days , because the deadline is for my other choice-schools are coming to end..and I don't have any money to waste anymore.

No email. Do not know when it was posted on the website. "Congratulations! We are pleased to be able to offer you admission to graduate school at Rice University. You should receive additional information from the our department shortly regarding the admissions process. "
