Surprised. This was a back-up, although it's a good program it is very expensive and offers little if any grants.

After sending an email to David Tyree at NOVA CD dept. I received email back this morning. He was helpful and sympathetic. Apologizing for any misunderstanding. He is approving a refund of my application fee. Although that doesn't make up for my time or my $ spent onsending transcripts and GRE scores. At least it is something. I am grateful. For future students. If you have overall/cumulative below 3. Do not apply here.

Has anyone who has interviewed been informed about the policy of earning a B or higher in their undergrad courses, and if they have not they must repeat them as post bac work? I have scheduled my interview for next week.

To the person inquiring about Nova. Yes, they do require you to have B's in every course. If you do not have B's, then you will be expected to retake them if you are accepted into their grad program. To be even more specific, Nova does not accept "B-" either. It must be a solid B. I hope that helps. Good luck.

I interviewed for NOVA on 2/13 and haven't heard anything yet. Has anyone else interviewed for NOVA on that date or the one before and can share how long it took? Or if you interviewed with me that day? This is torture!

To the other NOVA poster, I highly doubt that they will make a decision any time this soon, probably the middle or ladder half of March. I got invited to an interview on February 3, however, because I'm in Virginia, I couldn't logistically schedule my interview until March 13. So I can't imagine that they will make any decisions until they conclude all of their interviews.

Actually NOVA is "rolling admissions" so they decide after each interview. Last year they found out four days later but supposedly the latest you find out is two weeks after. I was just hoping it really wasn't two weeks lol. The four days later last year got my hopes up they'd contact sooner *sigh*. But thank you for sharing and responding to me!

4.0 2nd Bachelors in COMD, Teacher for Speech/Language Impaired in school setting. Volunteer in field prior to job experience. Applied to Nova in early Nov., and just had phone interview Mar 3. Now waiting to hear decision. Waitlisted at another school.

Interviewed Friday morning 3/20 and got the email 4 hours later!

Accepted to the Fort Lauderdale campus and am starting Fall 2016. Orientation is August 5-7. I was wondering if anyone else was accepted and is going to this campus in Fall 2016. Would love to meet people in my cohort!
