Admitted w/ 18k fellowship. Waiting on NYU, Columbia, Upenn, Texas, Maryland, BU, UCLA, Berkley, Minnesota, Virginia, Duke. I will most likely decline as I hope to be accepted by one the programs listed above.

Was on the waitlist, e-mailed Marjorie, here is the sad news: I have just been advised that our Admissions Committee has closed the admissions process for the fall 2009 PhD Program. Unfortunately, we are not able to make you an offer this year. That is the say, noone seems to be getting an offer off the waitlist

I got the notice via email 2 weeks ago. I submitted my application in mid-Feb. However, I am planning to turn it down. Sigh....it is such a great program.

Those who were on the NYU waitlist, have you received any confirmation/rejection?

To NYU poster, I sent my application on mid Feb (a bit late -_-"). Hope i'm not the last person to know the result!!!

Thanks but no thanks! Accepted without funding, it is not worth taking loans to attend a program outside the Top 20. Will decline the offer.
