Michigan State University Graduate School Admission Results

Grateful but also feeling weird right now... dude sent me an email from a personal email address, with a letter of offer attached of course. But there's no update in my student portal. No funding, valid until April 15th. Everything just looks weird... Anyone admitted to Michigan State had the very same experience?

got an interview offer from doctoral program coordinator

TTPB, I got an unofficial email from the grad coordinator. I wasn't interviewed. I don't think MSU does interviews for its applicants.

TTPB, did you interview or have contact with a PI prior to getting your acceptance?

Emailed by my potential PI that I am being offered admission and will receive an official letter soon!

Email from the grad coordinator. Admitted with full funding for 4 years, and guaranteed summer funding. This is one of my top choices, incredibly excited.

No official letter yet. Emailed notification of acceptance from committee, but funding is still in the works.

This was the worst application process I have ever experienced.

Admitted with funding. My financial package was updated the following week with an EDS Award. Updated again recently (2/19) with University Distinguished Fellowship.

TTPB: I interviewed on Friday 12th Feb, and received a phone call regarding acceptance on Wednesday 17th Feb.\r\nI would highly encourage you to reach out to the program coordinator if they offered you an interview but you haven\'t interviewed yet. Congrats to the folks who got accepted to MSU BMS. Could you tell me the date of your interview? I also received an interview offer and they replied to me that they will let me know the interview date later. I am still waiting to hear from them.
