Personal email from PoI (JM) informing of invitation to interview day- official invite and more details to follow.

No funding available.

Received a letter from Dr. Lampe with an attached letter of rejection signed by Dr Loewen dated from the 27th.

Got a personal email from a person of interest. Mixed news. Accepted, but since the dept. has a strong sociolinguistic tilt already, funding was offered to others over sociolinguists. Already accepted an offer at a different school, so not a huge thing for me, but they also mentioned that funding was still being possibly figured out for those without an out and out offer.

I was at the January interview. Email states that most of January interview students are put on hold to be fair to February students. Also, it says that they envision most of the students put on hold will be accepted to the program.
