After completing prelim, received email saying I am not invited to in-person interviews but that they are not outright rejecting me. Waitlisted I guess.

Rejected after prelim, came from graduate admission chair.

Got an interview offer on 27th December 2024. Interview conducted on 6th January 2025. Interview went pretty smooth with 4 panel members. Got email from PI on 15th January 2025 and official offer letter from department on 16th January 2025. TOEFL:105; Publications: 1; 3yrs+ research experience in organic and polymer chemistry.

TOEFL 116. I got an acceptance decision on the program level before the deadline but was told that the full decision would depend on the department and university, as well as any funding package. I'm still waiting for their final decision.

Double major in applied math and chemistry. Chemistry GPA 3.96. No interview

First acceptance of the cycle, waiting on other applications. GPA is Master's. Very relieved and excited!

My second rejection this cycle, so sad :( Personal background: Undergraduate: earned from a prestigious UK university, First-Class Honours Degree (GPA 3.85/4.00 after WES evaluation), 1 year of research experience (4 different projects in total, including 1 UROP summer internship at Imperial College London), 3 preprints on arXiv, 2 strong LoR from my undergraduate project advisors; Graduate: currently earning my master's at WashU, GPA 3.43/4.00 (physics major GPA 3.62/4.00), 1.5 years of research experience (master's thesis project), currently writing my first-author paper, 2 department symposium experiences and 1 conference experience (3 posters presented in total), 1 strong LoR from my current PI. GRE 323+4.0 not submitted.

TOEFL 116. Got an email from the program director before the deadline saying they are admitting me on the program level, but funding and admission will depend on the university. I'm actually still waiting for the full confirmation regarding funding.
