McGill University Political Science Graduate School Admission Results

Excellent recommendation letters, 8.5 in IELTS, magna cum laude graduate for UG, not that great of a research statement (wasn't proud of it, so not surprised), but I was accepted into an ivy league, so was going to reject McGill's offer either way.

I was not initially accepted and was put on the wait list in February. But this week I was contacted by the department to say that I was the first person they were able to contact from the waiting list and they could offer me a place.

Accepted via e-mail. Formal offer & details coming over the next 2 weeks.

I am an international but did my BA in political science at McGill. Was sent email to notify me that a "significant new decision" had been made to my application.

Did anyone who got accepted receive any word about funding in their informal email?

Finally received the decision. It was a long shot and not really fit. Congrats to others who got admission.
