OMG!!! I just can not believe I got accepted, I am crying right now, literally.

TTPB: For those who are still waiting for McGill, I emailed the graduate program coordinator and she said she has no idea and did not take part in the admission process, she also said any rejections will not be sent out until spring. She asked me to email my potential PI directly. So I emailed my PI and she said her group has reached max capacity (= rejection). Apparently admission is done within a research group instead of the department, so if you still haven't heard from them yet, you should probably just send your PI an email and ask.

I rejected this waitlist. I received offer from US. Canada no longer consideration. Good luck.

Canadian student with an MA in Philosophy, GPA mentioned is graduate GPA. Funding to be discussed with dept

3.5/3.6 cGPA when I applied. One publication during a co-op placement I had and professional occupational health experience as a health and safety administrator.

Really short wait time for decision! Small note- the dept lacks internal funding, which makes proof of financial support/ supervision the most important part of the application to prioritize.

No funding attached, but possibilities for funding exist.

Canadian Applicant. Accepted with some funding in case SSHRC application is not successful.

Had prior support from a faculty member to join their studio, so definitely a very competitive year.

I was awarded a recruitment scholarship weeks ago before being accepted, but I submitted my supervisor confirmation on the 17th, and was accepted the next day.
