Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Architecture Graduate School Admission Results

I got a phone call on Friday, and I can't believe it, such an early notification—apparently, from 800 applicants, only 30 spots.

Received an email asking to schedule a phone call, and then a call from a professor who will be my point of contact. Accepted with minimum 75% scholarship guaranteed. So thrilled!

I'm the admit to the HTC program from yesterday. I was quite shocked to receive the phone call (all the admits in this forum from previous years occur in March!), but it is an official acceptance, letter to follow. I Zoomed with a few faculty members in the fall but have had zero contact since applying. They called me rather late yesterday, so other notifications may come later. I was admitted for architectural history.

TTPB: Congrats! Did you have an interview whatsoever before the acceptance? Seems quite an early decision.

Congrats!!! have you received an interview beforehand sometimes? I've also applied to HTC-architecture track (assume they usually admit 2 for architecture, 2 for art)

Utterly elated. Hadn't heard anything prior, but received the news in a phone call from my POI today.

Change status: application has been reviewed by staff and has been sent to the admissions committee for consideration.

Anyone waiting for SMArchS A+U waitlist results as well? Or did anyone receive any notifications of when will the results be out?

FYI: MIT Architecture virtual open house was yesterday...so it might not be good news if you're still waiting.

Rather unfortunate. However, I heard only 4 students were accepted. Fortunately, I was accepted to the MCP program at MIT!
