1 YOE @ FAANG, low GPA due to majoring in multiple STEM degrees at Public undergrad

This offer is from my current master's PI in Hopkins so it might not have referential importance for other applicants

Computational Biology. No GRE scores nor publication. GPA within the 3.5-4.0 range from a top 20 university worldwide. Multiple research projects throughout my undergraduate years and strong support from my letter writers (previous research supervisors).

I asked for a short interview by POI.

Receive department email saying congrats! Official school letter will come within 3-4 biz days! Log into Portal and nothing has changed. Also applied to the Ph.D. Program, but I asked my upper-class in the lab, he said the prof has made his decision.

I applied for a Ph.D. and Masters though. Haven't heard back regarding the Ph.D. application.

Comp bio. 3 years industry experience, Master's Degree from a respectable Canadian university. 2 conference pubs. Lower end GPA, no GRE.

6 months research, non iit, heavily focused my application towards nlp.

Got an email from the professor who interviewed me. All initial admits and rejects are given out. Those of you who are admitted but not going to attend JHU please let them know.

After 3 interviews and a visit, rejection. Disheartening.
