Is anyone still waiting to hear from St. John’s ?

They emailed me when they received my materials to say my application was incomplete (I did my first undergrad at a Canadian school so it had to do with my transcript). In that email they gave me directions to sign into the St. John's grad portal. I've spoken to others who applied who haven't gotten directions to that portal yet. I think I was a weird, outlier case because of the international transcript thing.

I also applied to St John's and submitted my application may before the deadline. I got an email from CSDCAS saying my application has been received and verified but other than that, I have gotten random unrelated emails from St Johns such as Holiday Greetings and such. I have not received any information about logging into or getting any link to follow to a portal via email. I also have not received any email from St Johns saying they received my application and it will be under review-unlike all of the other programs I applied to which I thought was weird. Anyone else wondering about not getting any grad portal information isn't alone.

I actually just posted earlier today about not receiving information about the St. Johns portal. But I received an email today to check the portal, which they gave me a link to and provided me with the PIN number. I got accepted!

Congrats to the person who got accepted to St. Johns below! I was wondering what portal are you talking about? Since we submitted through CSDCAS, I'm not sure if I ever got an account to a St. Johns portal. Please let me know how you got there!

To those who got accepted, when did you submit you application? Also, about how long do they give you to make a decision? Thank you.

Was going to decline anyway! A little bummed only because it was my first rejection!

Poster below, thanks! I had a feeling that’s what you meant. I checked the course offerings as well! I contacted them yesterday and they said faculty were still reviewing apps. It’s my second round applying and really hoping to get in! Hoping for the best for us both.

For those who were accepted, do you mind sharing what steps you took before applying? Making connections with faculty, admissions, etc? Stats? Anyone accepted from just purely applying without any faculty contact?
