Georgia Institute of Technology Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

I noticed some people posting acceptances from the school but it's been 2 weeks & I've heard nothing. Has anyone else not received any communication? I've called almost everyday & emailed, no response.

TPB: I received the same email with Student ID#! Congratulations on being Accepted?!!! My application status still shows waitlist! Hopefully, the the status will be updated to 'Accepted' on monday. Fingers crossed!

I have already accepted an offer at my top choice, so while I'm not anxiously awaiting an admission decision from Georgia Southern where my future depends on it, I find this whole thing so unprofessional. I understand that we're in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, but applicants were told two weeks ago that we would receive a decision within 7-10 days, yet so many of us haven't heard from them. The application deadline was months ago, and I don't understand (across the board because there are schools I never even heard from one way or another) the total lack of communication or why we're 4 days away from the decision deadline with no word from them. I emailed them the other day and never even got a response, so I guess that speaks volumes about their program. If you're really hoping for an acceptance, I sincerely wish you the best of luck! If you have other options, maybe you should consider accepting another offer instead of holding out hope for this program.

Just receive an email from internatinal admission coordinator. He says that I need to provide documents to receive F-1 visa. However, I am still in waitlist and do not receive offer from them. Does anyone in the waitlist receive the same email? is that meaning we have been enrolled?

Also have not heard from them, and glad to know I am not the only one. I plan on emailing them, but unsure of what to say. I understand a worldwide pandemic is going on, but this is absurd. I don't know if I am accepted or not, but if I am, I am highly considering declining simply because of how unprofessional they have been.

I still have not heard back yet. Is anyone else in the same boat? I am thinking about emailing. This is my top choice but I was also accepted into much better programs. This seems extremely unprofessional. Their communication is terrible and they have no regard that we have to commit next Wednesday to other programs.

Still no word from them either. Are you all going to email them? Not sure what to do.

Glad I'm not the only one! I can't decide if I should contact someone to see what's up or if I should just wait it out. Technically today is the last day they would tell us since it's the 10th day in their “7-10 business day” response.

Contacted program for an update and was told that all spots were filled and those on the waitlist were being released.

I got an email to check the application portal and was accepted off the waitlist... 24k assistantship renewable for up to 5 years - very happy!

I got in off the waitlist! I am very excited about the opportunity. Does anyone know if a Facebook page has been created?

I was kept in the waitlist but my supervisor kind of ensured the funding. Got 9 months TAship and tuition waiver. No health insurance subsidy though.

The email said I was contacted earlier than customary. Interviewed on 24th feb.
