Received unofficial acceptance from admissions rep (CEE is finalizing funding packages before sending out official letters)

Are they sending wait list notifications before acceptances and rejections? That seems strange.

I was notified by the Graduate Recruiting and Admissions Coordinator with a TA position offer. I am very excited about that !

Received an email from the Graduate Recruiting and Admissions Coordinator this morning letting me know I was accepted. No interviews or prior contact.

Received an email saying my portal was updated. No funding given at this time.

TTPB: Yes, I had an interview with PoI, but it was mostly about understanding my preferences and not my competency in quote.

Email from the Graduate Recruiting and Admissions Coordinator informing me of my acceptance and that official email will come in later. I'll be rejecting the offer for NYU. So, best wishes to those expecting a favorable decision. Few notes, I was rejected last admission cycle with 2 IEEE transactions under review and 1 accepted IEEE conference paper. Accepted this year with 4 IEEE transactions and 2 IEEE conference papers published, and additional 2 IEEE transactions under review at the time of application. MS GPA: 3.88/4.00. Track is power electronics.

Admitted as GRA.
