Georgia Institute of Technology Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Received an email that the decision would be posted in the portal after business hours. To anyone at Georgia Tech, please reconsider your email policy. I was expecting a rejection at this point, but receiving an email that my decision would be posted in a few hours made the wait difficult and made me hopeful that it may be an acceptance. We waited over 3 months, we could wait another 3 hours. Please email once the decision is ready, especially for a rejection.

2 workshop papers, one under review

Does everyone have a 'To dept for review' status for Georgia Tech MS CS on the checklist? Or does somebody have a 'Department Decision Made' or 'Institute Decision Made' status? (You can check status on the Checklist at applyweb)

The Georgia tech website seems to be down for me. Is this the case for others too ? And if so, does it mean anything ?

Received email that decision will be available today after 5PM EST. Status changed to Dept. Decision Made

Got an email that decision will be available at 5 p.m. EST. Status has changed to dept. decision made. Have no clue whether the news will be positive.

I received the mail too. TTPsB: Where can we view the status? I can currently see 'Submitted' and in the 'View Details' section, I can see 'Payment accepted. Form submitted successfully.' Am I missing something?

TTPB: just click on "view checklist". You'll get a popup with the status. Previously it was something like "To dept. for review".

Has everyone received such an email? I have not yet. Let's hope decisions come out today because the wait has been long.

TTPB: I personally haven't received the mail either. Not sure what to make of it but I had submitted my application just few hours before the deadline so I am assuming they're going serially? All pointless speculations. Also my status is still "Dept for review" .

Still haven't received any email about the results, nor has the status changed from "To dept for review". Any idea on what is the ETA considering today is the date that their website claims to be the last day.

I received a mail saying that the department decision has been made. I would be able to see the decision letter after 5 PM EST. My status shows "department decision made". Has anyone else received this kind of a mail?

TTPB: Got an email saying my decision letter will be available at 5PM ET too. I am highly anxious right now.

TTPB: Yes. Received the same email. GaTech supposedly rolls admits from 1st April to 15th April. Let's hope for the best!

If notifs will come on a rolling basis then that might explain why some people got the email and some didn't. Or maybe they roll out admits first and mass reject later. Either way, 1.5 hours left, good luck everyone!

Got a mail just like many others here. However the website still doesn't show a decision letter even though it is past 5 pm ET. Status says dept decision made but can't see any decision. Anyone else facing the same problem ?

Did anyone who submitted a few hours before the deadline get the email? BTW its 5 PM now
