Georgia Institute of Technology Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

I chose specialization in Scientific Computing, which I did not why I picked that and eager to change it to another one. Got an E-mail to check 5:00pm today.

I applied to the Interactive Intelligence specialization. Got the email to check portal at 5PM ET today. Expecting a reject.

I applied for Interactive Intelligence and got a mail to check the portal at 5 pm Eastern time. Anxious!

Received email to check decision after 5pm ET. Staying awake to check the result, and then either I'm sleeping super heartbroken, or not sleeping at all.

Got an email to check the status of my application at 5pm ET today.

Well, at least they wished me the best of luck in my future academic endeavors. :(

Undergrad from BITS. 1 research internship and decent projects. Was disappointed.

Got accepted but have to decline my spot because I already had decision deadlines at other schools. Really wish GT had sent it out sooner but hopefully someone on the waitlist will be able to benefit. No research experience or papers, but I go to a top ten school, I've been able to do interesting work through summer internships, and I likely had good LORs.

Was ambitious. At least a professional and profile rejection letter :) :(

To the poster below, why USC over Georgia Tech. GaTech I believe is better. Location?

Cybersecurity. Dream admission since I could only afford to apply to one program. Govt. research experience and strong LORs and SOP.

Does anyone know if the acceptance rate was really 10% this year? Seems like there have been a lot of admits.. just curious!

Applied for GT-Lorraine as part of the dual-degree agreements. Strong LORs. Previous internships abroad. No research experience.
