The Computer Science graduate program is extremely competitive and can only enroll a small number of the applicants for each year. For the upcoming academic year we received over 3000 applications and are able to admit less than 10% of applicants. After a careful review, I am sorry to report that we are unable to admit you this year.

I don't think it has to do anything with specialization. I have also chosen Interactive Intelligence but haven't heard back. There was an admit post yesterday with Interactive Intelligence as specialization.
