To the below poster with admission in ML, which department did you apply for Machine Learning among ECE, ISYE, CS, etc?

To answer the person below's question, I applied into the School of Interactive Computing which I believe houses both the CS PhD and ML PhD programs.

I’ve received an acceptance letter from the program’s department on Feb 4, but I haven’t received anything from the institute yet. Has anyone received the acceptance letter from the institute, or is it still early?

To the user who posted acceptance to PhD program in City and Regional Planning in GaTech, when did you have your interview?

Has anyone heard besides systems/security?

TTPB: You can see their current submission rates if you search "Georgia Tech admissions tableau". They've accepted 3 "just" CS PhDs at this point, and based on trends they'll accept ~110 more. Eventually. :)

Had Notification of acceptance from the POI followed by the official acceptance letter. Got Graduate Research Assistantship.

I sent an email few days ago to check my status and they replied: "Our admissions were frozen for a long time. They've now opened again, but we're not even sure that we can dip into our waiting list. So, there is no chance that we can offer you admission this year. I'm sorry that it took us so long to reply."
