Really unexpected. GATECH was back up for my other applications (UC Berkeley, Stanford and UIUC). However, after my objection, they said if I needed just admission, they could re-consider my application.

Just received by postal mail dated 3/14/2011 .. "Many aspects of your application were of interest to the faculty, we wish we could accomodate a greater number of talented students in the PhD program, BUT ours is still a small program..." .. pity!!
