I applied for the MS , and I wrote that I want to earn a PhD degree in the future. A professor(not POI) contacted me and gave me an interview.

Today, one of the potential advisors contacted me for the interview, and we made the schedule for the interview. I believe the interview process of Civil Engineering at the GIT just began.

Got an acceptance letter without any information regarding funding or advisory. I haven't reached out to any professors yet, nor did any professors interview me.

Thrilled!! With 4+ months since deadline and no replies from the ISyE department, I had long given up on this. Got a mail to check portal yesterday and was absolutely elated to find the letter of acceptance. Department is #1 in US!
