I also got the email at 11 this morning... People said the second wave was rejects so there's not much hope on my end

I received a mail today by Georgia Tech to check portal at 5pm EST, while many received it yesterday I don't know what to make of it, did anyone else receive it today?

Received acceptance letter from department. Yet to receive second letter from the Institution. Very happy! :)

TTPB: Thanks for letting me know. Now I see that the status is "To Dept For Review". Well, I guess in any case it doesn't really matter anymore!

Email to check status after 5PM April 2. Specialization: robotics. I haven't heard back from UMD UCSD UMich either. Happy to be admitted.

TTPB whose status is "Paid" : I guess you're looking for your status in the wrong place. You would have to view your checklist to find your actual status.

TTPB: I've applied for Computational Perception and Robotics specialization too, and haven't received a mail yet. Status still "For Review"

Did any1 who applied to specialisation- computational perception and robotics receive admit?

Admit letter from department received. Yet to receive admit letter from institution. Very happy!

TTPB: Looks like that the rejects are not all out. Colleges are just lazy sending out rejects. Btw what is the status on the portal for you? For me it is still fees paid. Also, when did you submit your application?

I am the person with the Modeling and Simulation specialization. To ther person asking about that - no, there is no specialization mentioned in the decision letter. I just mentioned it as various people want to know which specializations were mentioned while applying by those who got admitted.

TTPB : does that mean the ones who haven't received the decision yet are rejected !?

TTPB: I don't think you are the only one who got rejected. I saw a couple of rejects on Yocket. Also, I still haven't received any email from them. I have dropped them a mail. Hopefully, I will get a reply

TTPB: I am poster who got rejected. I applied to the PhD program in ML, but my department was ECE not the IC department. Luckly I got in one of my top choices (I still dont know how...) I hope you get in!
