From the same person as in the previous post. GRE: Q 165 V 154 AWA 5.0; TOEFL 106. Strong GPA (BSc and MSc), 4 years of post BSc research experience. As at time of application (1 IEEE conference paper accepted, 3 under review). Research area: power systems and controls. Good luck to those who got in!

TTPB: I am also waiting for the result. It seems we have been waitlisted as GTech has allowed applicants to defer admission by an year. Most probably, they are trying to confirm how many won't attend.

Has Georgia Tech sent out all its admission letters? I haven't heard from them yet, anyone else in the same situation?

Rejected from Georgia Tech - Atlanta, but accepted into Georgia Tech - Lorraine and Georgia Tech - Shenzhen. Don't think I'll go...Have an admit from Washington.

VLSI and Computer Systems track; published a tier 1 publication with GaTech Atlanta professor; was offered a direct Ph.D. on call last semester. lol

Rejected from Atlanta campus, but accepted into Lorraine and Shenzhen campuses.

I was the Formula SAE lead for the Electric racecar at auburn in 2018-19. I have been heavily involved with the motorsports team, Id like to think this is what stood me out, other than being a Palace Acquire Intern for the Air Force.

Applied to VLSI Digital track as first preference and Computer Systems & Software as the second pref. 2 years of relevant work-ex, no research experience
