Had an interview with POI last week.

No interview.

Admission without interview

Accepted to EDIC. Holding 2 masters, 1 at EPFL (GPA 5.7/6), 1 publication at ICML (second author), 1 publication under review, several industry internships (one in a GAFA), several university internships, 2 very strong LOR, 1 strong LOR.

Wonder if anyone receive a rejection notification? Does anyone know if all acceptances have to notified? So far I haven't received any email from EPFL. Thanks a lot!

First offer! Really appreciate what I could have not that deserved without many people's help. Interviewed by POI but POI is on behalf of the committee. POI lets me explain some potential disadvantages I have, i.e. mainly because my background is not from that top universities. But my research is doing great and matches their program very much and I also appreciate the 3 strong letters I got.

Master degree with excellent grades and scholarship. A lot of research experience in the area I want to work on, e.g. research internships. No publications though. EDIC Fellowship offered. Still waiting for other results before accepting. I am very happy and hope everyone here gets accepted into the uni of their choice :)

Were all the accepted students offered fellowship? Maybe they only sent the results for the ones accepted with a fellowship and not all the acceptance and rejection results yet.

First offer! Indeed I feel myself don't deserve the offer. My recommenders are really really good to me. Wating for offers from the US.

I cannot believe it. A fellowship from EPFL in EDIC. :) I hope I deserve this offer.

Yeah... no-fellowship offer and wait for being hired by faculty members.

To the EPFL posters below: was your program "Computer and Communication Sciences (edoc)" on the website? Shouldn't it be "edic" instead of "edoc"? I am suspecting I applied to a wrong program...

I did not have a master degree nevertheless I wanted to try doctoral program along with the master's program in EPFL. I hope the result of Master's application would be positive. Good luck everyone.

Kind of expected, didn’t have multiple top conference papers for a clean admit.

No fellowship offered. Accepted by admission committee.

Generic reject mail. Asking to confirm the receipt of the email. Now, I must thank them for rejecting me :p
