First of many, more to come.

Accepted with first-year fellowship. M.Sc. from a top German uni. One published paper as co-author, one currently under review. Several top industry internships, exchange term and master's thesis at EPFL.

Disappointed. Stats: 4 pubs in journals (IF > 4) and 4 pubs in conferences; peer-review experience for top journals; international internships; but graduation from a tier 3 college in India, I guess I can't overshine that easily!

So dejected to get rejected. Don't know why EPFL rejected me without even conducting an interview.

1.7 master GPA from a top german uni, good research experience (1 paper published, 1 under review)
