To the previous poster, what kind of scholarship are you referring to? Is there another scholarship besides the one you can apply for in the online application?

To the person who got offer from EPFL computer Science PhD. Cong! Have u contact any professor before your applications and when did u finished your application? I am waiting for the decision for a loooong time.

Finally the decision came! Still, I think I'll go with ETH

My first acceptance! Bachelor's from a good Italian university, good GPA (not the best though), good references, one internship at CERN, TOEFL 101

Didn't get in. Standard rejection template that has been posted below. GRE: 325-330. GPA: 8+/10. Decent grades. 1 year workex as a Software Developer at Amazon. Good recommendations. Was really hoping for this one - even contacted a professor and had a discussion regarding a few papers.

Does anyone know anything about admission to MSc Research Scholars Program? When should we expect results?

Summer@EPFL student, 2 recommendations from people at the lab. Grades are really bad though (think this has a huge influence at EPFL, based on the interns they had over the summer as well). One paper on it's way and a project I'm still collaborating with them.

Direct PhD(without publication), accepted with 1-year fellowship

IITK EE grad. Others: UIUC, UMCP

They said that the results will be announced at the beginning of April.

Contacted professor, rejected with a standard mail - stating about high competition.

Can this acceptance email be more general?
