I'm from the 2nd best university in Spain (UPM) #125@QS. Currently in the top 10% and have obtained several subjects with honors (42 ECTS), given only to the top 5%. Proud Nova Talent Member as well as HKN member at IEEE. 3 years as a self-employed android developer and working currently as a Software Engineer Intern (for 10 months). Two very strong LoRs. No GRE. 106/120 TOEFL score. Kubernetes passionate

1.5 years of research experience, 1 paper under review. Teaching assistant for 5 months. Solid LoRs, regular sop. Hayırlısı.

Top university in Turkey. 4.0 Gpa and most successful student in the department. 1 year research experience with a submission to CVPR as third author, no teaching exp. 108 toefl score. Don't know what to say, so happy to be accepted!

Rejected for direct doctorate, accepted for ms instead. Devastated because this is my dream school. Won't be taking the ms offer because I have a phd offer from a US school.

Currently working in India. Did a research intern from USC. 1 first author ICLR, 1 ACL and 1 CVPR oral. UG at IIT Delhi with a GPA of 9.69/10 (class topper). Got an email to check portal at around 7pm IST. Had an interview for ESOP last Thursday but not heard anything about ESOP acceptance.

Rejected for the direct doctorate, but accepted for MSc. (My direct doctorate application automatically changed to MSc application a few days ago) From one of the best universities in S. Korea. With an almost perfect GPA (4.21/4.30), and a minimum TOEFL score required(100/120). Several research experiences add up to 2 years. A submitted paper to a top conference as a second author (finally rejected yesterday). Good teaching experience, good SoP, and good LoRs.

Tier 3 from India. 3 IEEE papers in Deep Learning / AI (not at A* or A levels at all). 1 internship of 2 months. Received a notification to check the portal at 7 pm IST on 1st March. Applied on 10 December

Ignore the waitlist. I applied for CS direct doctorate, but my application status changed to Computer Science MSc. I guess this may indicate that my direct doctorate application failed and thus automatically changed to and reconsidered as a master application. Does anyone in the same situation as me?
