Weak GRE and mediocre GPA. Have a lot of research experience that made up and LOR’s from top CS school (think MIT, CMU, UCB, Stanford). Goes to show grades aren’t everything!!

To the posts below, sorry for the delayed response. I was interviewed by a PI that was not in my SOP. We talked about my research interests and they asked some specific questions about it. We talked about where the project may lead etc, so be prepared to talk about your research in detail. After a while, we started to talk about the weather so it helped me relax a bit. (I was nervous too :)) I asked a bunch of questions about the school, and the program. They were really helpful in answering them. I hope this was helpful. Hope to meet you all in the program. Did any international student receive an interview invitation after 25 Jan? And those who have done their interview, can you please report your results once it cames out? I'm pretty nervous and waiting is killing me, Dartmouth is the school I really want. Thanks in advance.

To the poster below: I am an international applicant and have not received an update yet, but this is from program admin. "We are in the process of finalizing our skype interview list and hope to have that finished by the end of next week. Once that is done, the review committee will begin emailing those on the list to set up a date and time for the skype interview. It will probably be mid-February before we get all the emails done."

Interviewed today. Was told the first round of acceptances should go out next week and that they expect a second round.

Has anyone heard back for an interview? My portal has not changed.
