Anyone waiting results from IEOR department? I haven't heard anything since Nov

After more than 4 months of radio silence (no interview) I finally received a rejection. I had already accepted another school's offer but living in NYC would have been interesting. Congrats to all those accepted!

TTPB: I'm not sure what you mean. I applied in December (12/24) and then interviewed February (2/14). And then was admitted April (4/29). So it was quite the wait between each step for me. The admissions website says the interview is only a possibility so perhaps some get accepted without it. But I can't say for certain.

TTPB: what do you mean applied mid feb and just got selected, didn't you get interview invites earlier!!?? P. S. Do people get selected without interviews?

TPB: Submitted application 12/24. Invite for interview 2/13. Submitted interview 2/14. Accepted 4/29.

Got an email saying to check the portal then had my offer letter and require $4,000 deposit. Stoked :)

Do people receive admits without interview?

Hello, TPB. I submitted my interview on 3.13. And filled a survey on 4.9. Last week, I emailed them about the decision date. They told me the decision will come out by the end of April or Mid of May.

I applied to Columbia's M.S. in Business Analytics on 01/08/2020. It's been almost 4 months with no communication from the university, NOTHING. As many students in this forum, I am extremely frustrated by the university's radio silence, and called them today to ask for a reason why decisions haven't been released yet and protest their muteness. They gave me the same bs answer that they are still reviewing them and will know by end of April. If you are in the same boat, call IEOR Admissions at 212-854-4351 and make your voice heard!

Hello, Thanks for helping though I am applying for CU instead of UBC.

Undergrad percentage: 83% Application submitted on 15th January. Interview call came on 26th February. They give you a list of dates and times to chose. You can do an in-person interview if you live in Vancouver. I chose Skype interview because I'm from India. Interview occurred on 5th March. I had completed 5 UBC courses via edX and maintained an 89% grade. Hope this helps you get a sense of the timeline.

I submitted the application on 3.12, but still have not received any updates. IS there anyone who has the same situation?

TPB: I applied to MS&E, not Business Analytics. But I had a similar case where I have not been notified of the status of my application up until now (I submitted my application on 02/15). I'm also wondering if interview is a necessity to be admitted. Should we check with the admissions team if they're still rolling out interview invitations? Thx.
