Expected but upset :(

I got an email about deadline extensions today. Does it mean I am rejected or do everyone get one as well?

I got an email inviting me to check the status of my application on the admissions website. It was a very simple rejection. I have publications, a masters, and a lot of research experience. I think nobody was interested in my topic and I didn't request an interview with my POI prior to applying. Good luck to the others!

I accepted the spot at CUNY in the HPCS program with TS. I withdrew my application from: Marquette (NH) Stony Brook (JD) University of Memphis (IT) DePaul (JC) Clark University (AB) University of Hawaii (FF) University of Cincinnati (SW) UMBC (JAA) Good luck everyone. This was my 3rd time applying and by far my most successful with multiple offers and 11 interviews. A little about me: I have 4 small grants/funded awards. 2 publications 2 publications under review 5 publications in prep 1 oral presentation 11 poster presentations 6 years of research experience (2 which are full-time paid at an R1 University) 5 Guest Lectures Ad Hoc Reviewer for 2 journals Some clinical experience.

2a/7w/2r out of 12.

Funded tuition but no stipend, but that's fine for me.

How does CUNY tell you if you're accepted or not? Is it through an email? Do they tell you to check the Application Portal for your results? How will it appear there? Can someone let me know. I'm dying to hear from them!!!! The anxiettyyy!!!

Oh wow. I have been waiting. Did you interview with Colleen as well? I'm a little nervous. I wish there was a way we could have direct conversation here smh.

Have other offers elsewhere but the department would be a great fit. Anyone not planning to attend, please let them know as soon as possible!

Accepted with GC Fellowship; pretty torn and will visit all programs before deciding. What is UP with Columbia taking its time?

Anybody still waiting for an answer from CUNY J-School? Is it a bad sign I dont know anything yet? Should I still hope for acceptance?

To the poster below: I am still waiting as well! This is so frustrating that they've let some people know and not others all at once. I considered this my safety school so it's very confusing that they're taking this long to notify us.

I just got an interview now from the director??? This is the first email I received from them. I'm wondering I'm an wait listed or anything? Or they are just going to offer me no funded MA? For the people who got accepted and also wait listed, did you have an interview before??
