Brown University Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Anyone else not hear back at all? I didn’t get a rejection, but I also did not get an acceptance or a waitlist notification. I’m not sure what this means.

1 research paper in conference proceedings, 1 patent. Had an interview fee weeks back. Wasn't expecting this :/. 1a/3r/1w/9p

Hello! Does anyone who has applied for MPH program hear from Brown School? Have they sent decisions out or should we still be waiting?

GPA: 3.9. Major GPA: 4.0 Tutored 4 chemistry classes and 5 CS classes. One semester chemistry TA. One semester industrial research at one of the top CS organizations

Ignore Waitlist. Is there any new about UCSD and Brown? I didn`t hear from them for more than 3 months !!!

As somebody who applied a second time, my advice is that don't stress about the ranking of your university. Rather you should focus on finding a good topic to work on with a supportive faculty. Down the line your good work will open up doors to many more opportunities.

I had to apply and I had no other options! I improved myself a lot!

TTPB: Please don't dole out naive epithets like "improve your application and you'll get in". If you have been following GC/PGF, people with excellent applications have gotten rejected. And not everybody has the privilege to bear costs/stress for another year or be unemployed. Sometimes one has to suck it up and go to safe schools.
