Economics PhD Graduate School Admission Results

TTPB: I'm obviously biased, but I was not a fan of the area around Syracuse when I visited there before. Maybe I will see you at Riverside!

TBP : I got admitted on 02/04 so I applied very late for the assistantship. I was told that it will be very difficult for me to get funding considering the bad timing.

Which one is better? I prefer to live in CA and hate the weather in upper NY state, but it seems that SU has a better Econ department...

Jesus, how are some of you so insufferable and elitist? We're studying economics, not curing cancer. Get over yourselves. Congrats to everyone who got in this cycle, that is an achievement to be proud of. Don't let obnoxious internet users ruin your day.

TPB: If you are going to MIT, then it beats me as to what the heck are you doing on this forum anymore. LRM or HRM institutions, it doesn't matter, those are their achievements and could be helpful to report here for others. And if people were getting unemployed by going to LRM institutions then those programs wouldn't even exist in the first place with funding, my dude. But again, congratulations on MIT. Might I suggest that you revise your demand, supply theories, and IC curves before your program starts? And before you go off calling me illiterate, I am going to NYU.

FYI this forum is not a good place to help you form incoming students groups, urch is probably a good place or reach out to your program directly to get a student list. Please stop with these posts as well as where you have accepted offers, it's pretty annoying

Is there anyone who's accepted off the waitlist by MSU? Was told this past Monday that no one had declined their first round offer so no waitlist movement yet. The 15th is almost over and it's still radio silence.

I personally know several students who are/were holding more than 2-3 top offers until few hours ago. These feed back in a domino to lower schools. Don't lose hope yet!

What happened to the schools that are not sending their results to the waitlisted applicants till now. At least they should send out rejections
