Computer Science PhD Graduate School Admission Results

Received a fully funded offer! 3.877 GPA, no GRE scores, research in AI/ML, co-authored on several published papers. This is my first response!

To the Stanford posters who received interviews. How was the sentiment of the professor who interviewed you. Were they very excited to have you on board? Or did they just say that the decisions will be known later, without giving much soft signal.

Anyone got accepted into Systems/Architecture? No interviews, no emails and basically self rejecting every moment.

TTPB, I am an admitted student also with only one faculty contact too. When I interviewed, my POI told me that they had so many app's this year that after the initial selection that profs were still left sifting through more apps than usual. This is to say that IMO, having only 1 faculty contact ~does~ mean that that contact was the one that submitted our candidacy to the committee, but that ~does not~ necessarily mean that they are the only person that wants to work with us.

Accepted with one interview about 3 weeks ago.

Did an interview on nothing more.

To all those got offers: congratulations! Are there anyone got admitted and is in computer systems/networks track?

TTPB w.r.t Robotics: I applied but got neither interview nor acceptance. Self-rejecting at this point to maintain my sanity.

I posted about the admit in security. 1 first-author A* paper. Strong LoRs. Average GPA. Undergrad from IIT. I had two interviews in total.

Email came in ~8PM (eastern), TTPB: I had a few professors cc'd. I think your question is a good one to bring up at the open house. The website says most matching happens a few years into the program.
