Rejected by MLD. But I got an offer from Robotics Program.

TTPB; can you please share your research area?

Can someone tell if they were accepted into vision, graphics or visualization ?

To all interview posters: is anyone in computational biology (the "biocomputation" track)?

MLD. Five papers at mid tier conferences.

Does Columbia send offers in batches or send them all at once? Had an interview half a month ago, but no update til now.

Interviewed for HCI on Monday, 2/3. Prof said results for HCI will be released 2/6 or this weekend at the latest.

POI said decisions should be released first week of Feb.

Theory. Just found out today.

TTPB: I'm wondering the same thing about systems. Seems like there already has been a wave of accepts though.

CMU master's student. Area: PL. Only acceptance so far. Dream come true.

Good GPA, three strong references, a little over a year of research experience. Fulbright grant for graduate studies in the US. No publications, although I have a submitted manuscript and two poster abstracts, which I did not notify the school of as they are not yet accepted. One conference talk. This was an absolute reach for me, so I'm not upset even though it's my first response of the season >(' _' >) ,) ,) ,)3 (0a 0w 1r 12p)

Generic reject mail. More than 2000 people applied! So many $$$ earned. Why on earth do they ask for gre, toefl official score card even before reviewing the application.
