To all the CS Phd Applicants at Cornell, What is the application status? I visited the grad application portal and it shows " Complete ". Is there any other status for you folks?

NLP master in Canada. First authored papers: one long oral@NAACL 2018, one short@NAACL 2019, one long@ACL 2019, one@AISTATS 2020, one recently rejected by ICLR with score (863) re-submitted to ICML 2020.

TTPB: For the two schools I've applied to that use ApplyWeb, both say submitted in green on the profile and when clicking on the checklist, Cornell has application status as "Completed" whereas UPenn has the application status "Ready for review"

To the Stanford poster below (NLP Masters from Canada), who is your POI?

To answer the question posted below: Interview call from a new AP starting fall 2020 (Tatsunori Hashimoto). Even though I didn't mention him in my application, I find that there is a great overlap between his recent research interests and mine. I'm not sure whether it's by coincidence or he's actually interested in me.

I received an email with an invite from the department for Virtual visit session. Had set up an interview with POI the day before. Interview yet to happen. Email - "We are happy to inform you that the Graduate Committee of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder has reviewed your application for admission in our PhD program. We are impressed with your credentials would like to invite you to our Virtual Visit session with our current graduate students on February 5th at 8:30 AM, MST.
