LTI, no interview

I have taken this as a rejection but does anyone know how many people are typically on the waitlist and how many people get admits from it usually?

An email titled: "An update has been posted to your Stanford application"

PI told me that I have been accepted and an offer letter will be sent towards the end of this week.

Applied to the HCI track. Haven't seen anyone in HCI get in yet. If you're in HCI and got in, can you share your profile?

Given my diverse background of being half east asian, half south-east asian, and half american, I am proud to represent my homies from the mid. Thanks, ghost of Leland Stanford Jr, I wont let you down.

Ignore the WL. Anyone hear anything back from the societal computing programme?

Got email to check portal; portal rejected me worse than my first gf. Sad bc this was probably the best program I had a chance of getting in :(

BSc from well known CS school. 2 pubs, 1 as first author in high-ranking conferences. Experience as full stack SE. Was admitted without any funding which is strange but seems to be the norm for WPI.

5 pubs all top conference in GNN/Recommendation System. 2 first author; 3 second author.
