9 publications (7 first author) in A* top conferences, letters from very well-known professors, one best paper award. 2 positive interviews with POI and non-POI. Why exactly??? Area: ML

GRE not submitted. I feel I'm rejected by all of the top 4 schools (UCB, MIT, Stanford, CMU) where currently only S is official, but the other's silence showed their rejection. Applying for systems & networks. Did two research projects, one at my school one at a company. 1 pub on a workshop. Got admission from other schools, so I feel it's not that bad. Anyway, my application season is likely to come to its end now. The remaining thing is to collect rejection letters from these schools, including the top 4, Harvard, Princeton, UIUC.

An senior-year undergraduate with 4 first-authored non-top computer vision field papers, touched a HCI AP but not receiving very positive feedback. The AP declined my interview request in mid January and said I should wait for other profs who might be interested. This rejection is expected, so cheer up everyone!

Kinda rough, had 5 publications, 2 in journals and 3 in conferences. Expected since no interviews with POIs. No GRE.
