I am waiting as well. I called them today and they told me that Dr. Haralick is the only person with the info and he will not come back to the office until Thursday.. so I will give it another shot on Thursday and update here

It's about time. Schools that wait forever to give out results are the worst. By the time they accepted people, they definitely knew they weren't going to accept some time. The courteous thing to have done would have been to let them know then. But they didn't send out a single rejection (or at least it seems so) through April 15.

Damn. These rejects make me feel so lucky to have gotten a top 10 CS PhD admit.

Thanks for the reply. CUNY admission office number is not useful. They will tell you to contact the department. I guess director haven't back yet. Thanks again for the updates.

Any updates from anyone that applied to PhD in computer science? Is it normal to take this long for an answer?

I had an interview last week and it seems they are still going through applications. For machine learning, apparently they got around 750 applications :o .

Wow! Thanks for answering! That's a lot more than the stats showed on the prospective-students section of the phd computer science page. Please let us know if you receive any feedback.
