Mathematics PhD Graduate School Admission Results

I was invited to the grad visit day (Feb 16th) but could not get the visa. So I did three skypes instead. I was told by POI that the results will come out by the end of this week. I appreciate if other people could share their experience so we have more data points.

Submitted my application on the due date, Dec 15. Heard literally nothing the past 3 months. Pretty sure it's a pocket veto...

Generic rejection.. This rejection is really painful cuz I got rejected from the girl yesterday. Rest is only one... Hopefully...

Anyone heard from CMS yet?

To the poster below: no. I expect when first round goes out, we'll see results here. It does seem late though, esp for interview process. All my programs seem to be taking their sweet time.. must be a big applicant pool this year.

Did anyone get the official admission decision yet from CMS?

Anyone heard from the CMS department of Caltech? Any admits so far?

To the Posters on 3 March: I think it may not be a good sign. They interviewed a large amount of people and I got interviewed but then rejected.

If I haven't been interviewed, does that mean an automatic rejection?

Has anyone heard from CMS? I went to the visit/interview, but haven't received anything ever since.
