Mathematics PhD Graduate School Admission Results

So Caltech CMS recruits 2-3 people a year? Anyone hasn't received decision like me?

To the poster below, yep, I thought still some haven't received the notice, including me. Not sure about your program, but for my major, usually if you were not accepted by the end of Feb, you stand little chance to get in, though you were not rejected yet. Anyway, good luck to all of us and if someone who already got the offer while don't wanna go, please make your choice ASAP, thank you very much.

To the CMS post below, I went to the visit day and have not received anything yet.

Generic rejection email. 4.0 CS GPA. No research experience. I knew it was a longshot but worth a try since the program was my favorite. This is my 8th PhD rejection, and I'm still waiting on UCLA, USC, and UC Irvine. Accepted to TUM and USC master's programs so far.

Accidentally posted that I was accepted earlier...I was definitely rejected.

Two conference presentations, two submitted papers, good LORs

23 people chosen to interview for slots on either 1/19 or 1/22. Was told we will hear back late this week (on or before 1/26/2018)

To the post below. What do you mean "we will hear back late this week"? Hear Interview notifications? or PhD offers?

To the post below: I was told during the interview that I would hear back late this week about PhD offers. Not sure about those who weren't interviewed.

Highest undergrad GPA in department, Master's with a concentration on CFD...guess GRE quant is low, good luck for those accepted!

Anybody heard from Caltech CMS this year? By this time last year, a lot of people had been invited for interviews!

Not sure why a lot of people don't apply here. This school ranks #3 worldwide, on csrankings.com for Computer Vision. Anyways, I'm headed to Australia unless I get into a top CS program in the US.
