Computer Science Masters Graduate School Admission Results

MSCS at UIUC. Can someone confirm if people have received any offer for funding along with the department email? Anyone here who has got a financial assistance offer along with the admit?

Have related research experience. No paper. Not really a good fit. Sad but expected.

Would it be possible to confirm the status over phone? Since there are people with other admits with acceptance deadlines, who might be waiting for Purdue to send out it's decision. Are there any more admits left at all or should we go ahead and leave Purdue out of consideration?

Got a "Change to Application Status" email on 6th March. On 7th, received a "Umass Amherst Visa Sponsorship Fall 2020" email, which indicated the acceptance.

Have you worn a suit for the interview ?

Has anyone contacted the department as to when the decisions will be rolled out?

TTPB: Exactly my thought. PI told me a few weeks ago that results should be out by March first week, but heard nothing yet. Although I think results have been known to be delayed by a week or two in the past, so keep your hopes up.

Indian Undergrad. Any group for Columbia MS CS Admits?

TTPB Columbia MS CS: Although I respect your efforts in finding out the information, there are many people(whom I know personally) have interviewed and not received an admit. Let's just not live in a bubble or an unrealistic situation that every good performer can get acceptance. "People do get rejects even upon my good ratings," said the Columbia alumni interviewer. Its all upto the Admission Committee. Hope for the best :)

I surveyed multiple people over a wide range of acedemic standings. From GPAs ranging from 2.5 to 4.0 over 3 continents and every single person who applied has got an interview.

TTBP. I am not sure about when the rejections will come. tbh, I was thinking I was going to get rejected since they had already sent out many admits already.

I got an email to check the status in the application portal. My first Acceptation after countless rejects! I'm ecstatic!

From a top commonwealth university. Got scholarship for the first year (fees reduced to in-state tuition). Just realised that I applied for the wrong programme lol. Intended to apply for MS (with thesis)

TTPB: I applied to the MSCS program. I'm an international student, gpa of about 3.8/4, GRE : 328, AWA: 5, TOEFL: 115, Had done projects, internships (including one in Germany). No publications.
