Computer Science Masters Graduate School Admission Results

Could you guys please not talk about killing yourselves? Coming from Computer Science, we have a lot of opportunities regardless of graduate studies compared to other fields. Getting rejected isn't the end of anything. There is no position in the industry that you cannot get without a graduate degree.

time received email: 11:23 pm IST. No, I never send out emails to unis asking for decisions. I like getting miserable by myself and self loathe in silence.

TTPB: Hey I recieved it today 10th April from Sarah Conte. That was also mentioned in their waitlist email as well. If you are also on waitlist good luck man hope you have better luck than me.

Now it's clear. If you are an American, you're probably on the waitlist. They will fill out the spots with safe bets. It's pretty clear that international students may not get their visas on time or they'd rather choose to defer their offers. Public schools lack budget, so they'll choose to reject internationals and choose Americans. I for one is considering defer for my option at a different school. Sad and hard times for everyone, especially for internationals.

TTBPs who received an email for results at 5pm. Did you guys mail the admission office for decision before 15th April?

Also American here (in-state applicants), and I haven't received anything from UCSD, UCI, or UCSB.

Applied to Interactive Intelligence field. Received a mail at 23:23 IST to check the portal at 5pm EST for decision. Hoping that it is not a reject wave.

MSCV had been waitlisted. Expected have admits from Waterloo, Amherst, and Wisconsin-Madison(PMP), USC. Can anyone help me out with some advice in choosing among these 4 colleges? Thank You and best of luck.

TTPB: I'm still waiting to hear back from SB and Irvine(SWE M.S.). I'm gonna take this as a reject from UCSD. I've gotten accepted from Davis a while back ago, I'm also american FWIW.

TTPB: Haven't head anything from UCSD, SB, or Davis. I'm an american, maybe this is a differentiation. But likely just a REJECT LOL
