Finally got it after so long. No info on financial aid.

This is just a freakout post. I was interviewed in mid-March and have not been notified about admit/reject since!!!!!!! I need to know as I need to resign from my current job if I am getting accepted here I know they've said they'll update "next week" which has never yielded any updated. Phew! Ok bye

TTPB: No chance, even if you have 340/340 4.0/4.0 and 12 IEEE papers UC Irvine wont respond

I have a gre 318( 166Q, 152V, 4AWA), toefl 103, gpa: 7.9/10 ECE. 3 IEEE publications. Do I have any chance in MS CS or MCS program?

I am still pending too. I wish they could at least give us a timeline. [Posted below, just had to correct the term]

Waitlisted as well for whatever reason. Took them way too long to communicate this decision that has been probably made weeks ago. Keep your fingers crossed guys, good luck to all of you!

Waitlisted till 1st July :(

Also received an email saying I'm on the waitlist and that all decisions will be made by July 1st. Does this mean I am on the waitlist for all three programs I applird? And does anyone have any idea how big their waitlist pool is? Hope it is not like x1 x1.5 their class size

Scientists and Engineers program. It's been 5+ months and still no notification. What do we even pay these admissions officers to do?!

applied to applied data science program, emailed them about the status update. All the remaining candidates have been waitlisted and the decisions will be out before 1st july according to the email. Best of luck to all applicants

Just got the email saying I was waitlisted and the result should be come out before July 1st. I had an offer with deadline on June 15th. Sorry it might sound unethical, but USC is my top choice. I just wonder that can I waive my offer if I get admitted to USC, assuming that I have already accepted the offer and paid my deposit.

Just got an email ~10 minutes ago that I'm on the waitlist and my application is still in review. They said a decision will be released by July 1. This wait (weight?) has been so crushing, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

E-mail from Viterbi informing that decisions for people who are waitlisted will come out sometime before July 1st.
